Tanu Chopra
Founder, Hope Founderz
Before Hope Founderz had a name, a website or a list of services, there were simply people Tanu Chopra wanted to work with. A few freelance projects. People whose businesses and ideas she believed in. One project led to another. Clients came back. They introduced her to other people.
Somewhere along the way, what started as independent work became Hope Founderz. There wasn’t a grand plan to build an agency overnight. It grew naturally through trust, shared ambition and a belief that thoughtful communication could make a real difference. With every project, the work became broader, the collaborations deeper and the purpose clearer.
Today, we bring that same personal approach to every brief. We listen closely, ask the right questions and build ideas around what each client genuinely needs. We remain curious, adaptable and deeply involved from the first conversation to the final outcome. That closeness helps us create work that feels considered, relevant and true to the people behind it. In many ways, that’s still how we grow today: one honest conversation, one meaningful project and one lasting relationship at a time.
The story actually starts much earlier.
Tanu’s career in communications began in India at Good Relations, one of the country’s pioneering public relations firms. What fascinated her about the work wasn’t simply media coverage. It was people. Why do some ideas immediately connect while others don’t? Why can the way something is said completely change the way it is received? Why do we trust some voices more than others?
That curiosity eventually travelled with her to the Middle East. At Frost & Sullivan, she went on to build and lead the company’s MENA communications practice. It also meant starting again in a new country. New market. New relationships. New context. And one lesson that has stayed with her ever since:
"
Credibility takes time.
You earn it by doing good work, being honest and showing up consistently.

Two Decades of experience and countless stories
Then came some very big rooms.
Over two decades, Tanu’s work has put her alongside businesses and leaders during moments when communication really mattered. She worked closely with leadership and Amazon’s global teams during the acquisition of SOUQ.com.
Her experience includes major initiatives such as the launch of Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and the Emirati Genome Program, alongside work spanning government, technology, AI, fintech, real estate, blockchain and other fast-changing sectors.
There have been launches, acquisitions, market entries, government initiatives and high-pressure announcements. But strangely enough, those aren’t necessarily the moments she talks about most.
It’s usually what happens around them. The conversation before the announcement. The leader who called because they weren’t quite sure how to approach something. The client who trusted her enough to ask, “What do you think?” The relationship that continued long after the original project ended.
Those moments probably explain Hope Founderz better than any list of credentials could.
HOPE stands for
H
Humanizing
Putting people at the center.
O
Opportunities
Creating space for what’s next.
P
Public
Building visibility with purpose.
E
Exposure
Opening doors to bigger possibilities.
It may have started as an acronym,
but over the years, it has come to mean something much simpler to us.
Stay close to the people behind the business.
Understand what matters to them. Know when to listen, when to ask another question and when to speak up.
Because the work may begin with a brief, a launch or a business challenge,
but the relationships often go much further.
Same Purpose, A bigger Tomorrow
What began largely around PR and media has expanded naturally as our clients’ needs have changed. Today, we work across strategic communications, reputation, executive positioning, personal branding, storytelling, content, stakeholder engagement and significant events and experiences.
Sometimes we’re helping a leader find their voice. Sometimes we’re helping a business enter a market. Sometimes we’re figuring out the story around a product launch. Sometimes we’re in the room before an important announcement asking whether what we’re about to say is actually what we mean.
Different briefs. Same approach.
Get close enough to understand what really matters.

"
At the heart of it, we don't really want to feel like your agency. We want to feel like people you can call.
Where you can send us message saying, "Something's come up." And we'll already understand the context.
Behind the stories
People. Places. Moments.
You don’t have to be. Some of the most useful conversations we have with clients begin before there is a proper brief. Tell us what’s happening. Tell us what’s changing. Tell us what’s not working. Or tell us what you’re trying to make happen. We’ll start there.
